Nothing pairs better with fine wine than fine art, so join us Nov 15th at The Oak Street Mansion for an evening showcase of a one-of-a-kind art collection and delicious wines to pair! This art-themed guesthouse in a Georgian Revival-style mansion is within 5 minutes' walk of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Kansas City Art Institute and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. Each of the seven airy, casual rooms features a different style of art (impressional, Cuban, Abstract, Street Art, etc.) along with gallery space of works from regional artists such as Ross Braught and Charles Wilimovsky.
Number two in a series of tasting events put on by Brookside Wine & Spirits at Oak Street Mansion; $20 ticket includes 6 wines paired with cheese & charcuterie accompaniments.
We will be tasting:
2015 Tiki Sound Sauvignon Blanc
2015 Tete du Rhone Blanc
2015 Adler Fels Chardonnay
2015 OTWC Pinot Noir
2014 Adler Fels Pinot Noir
2015 Thomas Goss Shiraz
